This whole pandemic thing was beating me down a few weeks ago. I was:

  • Fed-up with social distancing
  • Appalled at what friends were posting on social media
  • Binged out on watching televisions
  • Cringing at what passes for news nowadays
  • And sick of speculating about what will happen next ( does anybody really know?)

YUCK! But, praise God, I pulled myself out of that pit and honestly it wasn’t that difficult. I just had to stop fixating on the pandemic and exercise a little self-care.

I wouldn’t say I’m skipping down the sidewalk whistling like I don’t have a care in the world, BUT I have undeniably recovered energy and joy I had not felt in months.
